Got this from a forum:
Nathalia Edenmont is a Ukranian-born artist whose work, which includes parts of dead animals she has killed herself, is on display in the Wetterling Gallery in Sweden. You can view the work here (there is no blood, but you may be disturbed.) Be sure to also check out the gallery's statement in defense of it's support of Edenmont here.

I consider it as art.Do you?Even though i don't like the way she did it, it is still art.Why do we feel that she is evil?Maybe because the animals she used are also known as "pets".We refer most of the "pets" as cute. What if she had used a cobra, spider, cockroach or a crocodile?Would we still think she is evil?Would we think her actions were inhumane?Because we hate these animals, thats why we think its okay to kill them?Or because they are ferocious creatures and we don't keep them as pets? What if she had killed ants and mosquitoes for her art work?Would we think she's inhumane then? Most of us kill ants and mosquitoes for fun.See a cockroach, grab the insecticide.Isn't it almost similar to what she's doing. She's doing for art.We do it 'cause we refer to them as pests. All of "them" fall in the same category;Animals.
